Ok, I’ll rephrase that.

I posted in my LinkedIn that I’m “looking for a job.”  My husband pointed out that it could have the wrong connotations… For me, it simply means the obvious – there’s more people than there is work.  And I would like to have some work, cause the generosity of relatives can only go so far.  And in Massachusetts, not only do I not have work, but I’m required to still have insurance, with no means to pay for it.  That’s universal health care, the Mitt Romney way.  Brilliant.

So anyway, a job.  Or a contract.  Freelance only brings in so much, and doesn’t in any way constitute full-time employment.  I know there’s people out there who need an artist who can also code front-end, and who knows how to make stuff that looks cool that also functions properly in every conceivable browser – with the occasional exception of Konqueror.

Come now – a show of hands – or a simple phone call.  That’s all it takes, and my talents are yours.
