Snow. First and foremost, there is snow. Finally, a white Christmas, for the first time in ages — a real this-isn’t-melting-by-noon kind of snow. Awesome.
I have almost all of the code done for my site, except that I can’t make it function in Safari. And without a mac and the development environment that Safari has on it, I have no clue how to figure it out.
But on the other hand, I have finished the gallery section of Mike’s website — mikerichardsphotography.com — almost. I really want to go in there a tweak a few more things, but for sanity’s sake I’m trying to resist. He still needs to write copy for the rest of the site as it is. Not to mention that I was sincerely hoping he’d have a show up by now, but nooooo.
Joyful by Tiffany has returned to the radar, at least somewhat. As has Xiorllaxiord, if only cause he put some work up in a show for the holidays and now I feel like I need to get a fire going under him again, so he gets me the images I need to build the site.
But first, Christmas!
No… first, apply to three more random jobs so that the government will keep funding me while the recession deepens. I hate applying to jobs. Especially when half of them are looking for non-existent people — like the one I found last week that wanted a front-end developer, with a sense of design, who also knows Java and Oracle. Yeah, good luck with that.
