Or, at least, he thinks he is.
I let him roam around the computer room, with supervision. Sometimes I toss a cricket on the floor for him to chase, and hopefully catch. Thing is, I’ve discovered that he has a taste for more than just bugs.
The other day, he was out chasing a cricket like normal, and he caught it right next to me. I happened to notice a bit of Cheeze-It on the carpet, and went to pick it up… at the same moment that the lizard saw the crumb. He rushed over, grabbed it, chewed and swallowed before I could even react.
Which left me sitting there, thinking, damn… I hope that’s not poisonous or anything. But now I have to watch out that I don’t leave any crumbs around, lest the crazy creature decides that they’re as appitizing as insects.
…which really makes me wish I could let him roam the whole apartment, since he eats ants. Don’t know if that’s good for him or not either, but it’s not like I can stop him, really. And this ancient building could certainly benefit from a few less ants.
Can I just say how limited I feel being forced to use a WYSIWYG editor? I LIKE coding, dammit… More, I like my code to WORK. *sigh* Stupid WordPress is COMPLETELY IGNORING my attempts to style it…
